As advertised, ASUS Republlic of Gamers (ROG) will indeed reveal a new ROG Ally gaming console. Turns out that it won't be called

As advertised, ASUS Republlic of Gamers will indeed reveal a new ROG Ally gaming console. Turns out that it won't be called the ROG Ally 2 but rather the ROG Ally X with several improvements. It will be unveiled on 2 June 2024 which is just before Computex 2024 launches.

According to Jake Kulinski and Whitson Gordon who were the hosts of ROG Pulse, the ROG Ally X was designed for gaming enthusiasts with some"goodies". The several improvements that were mentioned in the video include the battery , more memory and storage than before, ports and minimal physical changes. The hosts didn't spoil too much about the ROG Ally X but they did mention the new ROG Armory Crate SE version 1.5.

Other than customising your game library, you can also set game profiles, remove or uninstall a game, add a favourite game and other functions. ASUS will let you share your game profile templates with other gamers too with whichever gamepad mode you adjusted which is pretty great. You can watch the whole YouTube video since it's not very long. Until then, we have to wait for more information about the ROG Ally X on 2 June 2024.
