You read the headline right. Xbox is actually going to launch its own mobile game store app in July. This was confirmed by Microsoft's Xbox president, Sarah Bond during the Bloomberg Tech event a few hours ago. Here's everything you need to know about it.
During an interview, Bond stated that the company will be bringing a few first-party games into the unnamed mobile game store. This includes Candy Crush and Minecraft. Also, Microsoft plans to"extend that capability to partners" so that they can have a"cross-platform gaming-centric mobile experience".

This will also allow the company to be"independent of the policies" from the closed ecosystem stores .
Besides Candy Crush and Minecraft, we will likely see Call of Duty Warzone and Diablo Immortal as well since Activision Blizzard has been acquired successfully by Microsoft. We are curious how other developers would accept Microsoft's invitation in the future, but we guess we just have to wait and see.
