Obsidian Entertainment has rolled out a 120fps Pentiment update on Xbox Series X, closing the performance rift caused by the game's release on PS5.

Players looking to work through the Pentiment achievements can now enjoy the experience with overkill framerates. A free 120fps Pentiment update on Xbox Series X is now available for all players, although it looks like Xbox Series S is sticking with 60fps. While it's no longer able to join our list of the best Xbox exclusives, Peniment is a fantastic game, and well worth a playthrough if you haven't had a chance to check it out yet. As shared by Obsidian Entertainment on X, Patch 1.

be/OfYryKWkNfw?si=SYvPhSB2Nzyu7uoG Pentiment launched on PS5, PS4, and Nintendo Switch on February 22, and it wasn't long before players noticed that the game runs at 120fps on PlayStation 5, while Xbox Series X was locked at 60fps.
