Epic Games is shutting down online services for numerous Xbox games early next year.

As far as we can tell, it appears that not many of these games feature online-only achievements. It seems that just Rock Band, Rock Band 2, and Unreal Tournament 3 are the only games with achievements that you'll need to unlock before they're discontinued.

Epic Games also notes that it has"plans to bring back online features via Epic Online Services in the future" for Unreal Tournament 3. Whether this applies to the Xbox version of the game is currently unclear, as Epic has announced a new free-to-play PC version of the first-person shooter. The publisher has also started delisting games from digital storefronts and has disabled in-game purchasing of DLC packs."We have started removing games that were still available from all digital storefronts and are disabling any in-game DLC purchasing as of today," Epic says.

This is sad but this is expected. Hell I'm shocked rb1 lasted this long. And there's still rb4 with all it's dlc and such. And clone hero

Like how they got rid of infinity blade Best mobile game I’ve ever played.

So sad for unreal tournament 3. It never had a chance to shine on the 360 in my opinion. It was a real good game tho. Good soundtrack too. MONSTERKILL

Lame. I would buy rock band 4 if I could get instruments for it.

Are Unreal Tournament 3 servers peer to peer?

At least Rock Band 4 is safe

Guitar Hero servers are gonna outlive Rock Band, that's surprising.

epic doesn't own rock band

No more RockBand DLC?
