Nintendo recently announced that it is ending repairs for the Wii U console. This decision comes after the gaming company announced that it was shutting down

all of its servers, bringing an end to multiplayer, coop, and other services for the console.

As per Nintendo's service notice, ' 'Regarding the Wii U and peripherals including the Wii U GamePad, the period for retaining repair parts as stipulated in the repair service regulations has expired, so as soon as the current stock of parts is depleted, repair services will end.'The Wii U launched in 2012 and is the successor to the Wii, which itself launched back in 2006.

So, if you own a Wii U, it's safe to say that you're compelled to take extra good care of it, seeing how getting it repaired is going to be an even greater nightmare now.
