For those unfamiliar with the series, Goblin Slayer is a dark fantasy light novel series following the titular adventurer. An unusual feature of the series is that characters don’t have proper names, instead being referred to by their class or occupation. The anime adaptation attracted some controversy due to the first episode’s depiction of sexual assault, which some felt was gratuitous and only used for shock value.
