MMX 300 PRO,Gaming Headset

I cover consumer audio, gadgets, Apple Macs and digital photography. I love tech that's fun, creative and productive. I hunt down the coolest and most innovative gadgets so you know what's worth buying.

The market for deluxe gaming headsets shows little sign of slowing down with plenty of new models from the likes of Logitech, Audeze and now German brand beyerdynamic.the third iteration of the brand’s renowned MMX 300 series. This headset is an all-new, over-the-ear wired gaming headset that uses the same STELLAR.45 driver used in beyerdynamic’s studio headphones.

For this latest iteration, beyerdynamic has used a more modern and edgier design featuring bold prints for an elevated aesthetic that will look great when gaming. A professional 10mm electret condenser microphone takes the performance up a notch with clear speech thanks to a wider frequency range and lower noise. This should mean that players and teammates can be heard more clearly.

MMX 300 PRO are still handmade in beyerdynamic’s Heilbronn factory in Germany. The company claims the hand build aspect means the headset prioritizes comfort as well as audio quality. The MMX 300 PRO comes with beyerdynamic’s iconic velour earpads and a padded headband with a fontanelle recess to accommodate the high point of the wearer’s skull. The solid build is not only designed to last but beyerdynamic says it has used high-quality, lightweight materials with parts that are easily replaced.
