Looks like the future of Xbox and Microsoft really could be cloud-based entirely, especially considering recently surfaced images of Nvidia GeForce Now app options on Xbox consoles. The images seems to suggest that those with active Nvidia GeForce Now subscriptions will be able to stream games onto their console from Team Green’s servers. Screenshot examples show games such as Street Fighter 6 and Resident Evil Village Gold available to stream, courtesy of Japanese consoles.
Nvidia and Xbox already have a pre-existing relationship, with Xbox Game Studios, Bethesda, and Activision Blizzard games on GeForce NOW, however the relationship had never really offered much up to Xbox themselves. Now, with this, players will have even more ways to consume Xbox’s games. Especially if the move is towards all-digital, a stronger relationship with the leading cloud gaming provider is not a bad move.
