Lionsgate's highly-anticipated Borderlands has received a dissapointing MPA rating, ahead of its theatrical debut in August.

‘s highly-anticipated live-action adaptation of the hit video game series has finally been revealed. The film is currently slated to arrive in theaters on August 9, 2024.To some fans’ dismay, the Motion Pictures Association has granted the upcoming Borderlands movie a PG-13 rating for “intense sequences of violence and action, language and some suggestive material.

The latest Borderlands character posters showcase the movie’s supporting characters, who will be joining lead stars Cate Blanchett, Kevin Hart, Jamie Lee Curtis, Jack Black, Ariana Greenblatt, and Florian Munteanu. The colorful posters introduced Benjamin Byron Davis as Marcus, Gina Gershon as Moxxi, Janina Gavankar as Commander Knoxx, Olivier Richters as Krum, Edgar Ramirez as Atlas, and Bobby Lee as Gary.

Deadpool & Wolverine star Ryan Reynolds confirmed on his social media account that post-production on Marvel Studios’ first R-rated superhero…Marvel Studios’ Thunderbolts* has officially wrapped filming, according to star Julia Louis-Dreyfus.
