There's no E3 this year, but every major game studio is hosting its own showcase this summer, including PlayStation. On Wednesday, PlayStation announced that the next State of Play event will take place on May 30th at 3:00 p.m. PT / 6:00 p.m. ET. According to the announcement, State of Play will feature updates on 14 upcoming PlayStation 5 and PlayStation VR2 games, including several PlayStation Studios games launching later this year.
Sony Interactive Entertainment completed its acquisition of Destiny 2's developer, Bungie, in July 2022, but the studio still publishes multiplatform games. As for the rest of the reveals, we only have rumors to go on. For instance, a reliable leaker says that Sony will announce a PC port of God of War Ragnarök 'very soon.' Tomorrow undoubtedly qualifies as very soon.
