In addition to the suggestion of a Switch 2 running with 12GB LPDDR5X RAM, the source quoted by DF also implied that the memory modules would comprise two 6GB sticks, running at a speed of 7500MT/s. The speed makes sense for an SoC, given that the performance of a chipset's integrated graphics depends heavily on the frequency and quantity of RAM that is paired with it.
On another related note, there's still no telling what the next chipset to power the Switch 2 is going to be, only that it will continue to be one forged from the halls of NVIDIA's GPU labs. We'll just have to wait until March 2025 to find out.
