Images of a new Xbox console have leaked online. When I first saw the headlines, I was excited that we might get our first glimpse of the Xbox Series X refresh—codenamed Xbox Brooklin—out in the wild.of what appears to be a white Xbox Series X with no disc drive. This all-digital edition has not been officially announced, but it would likely cost less than the Xbox Series X in black.
Whether Brooklin will support physical media, however, remains to be seen. But from the images and information we’ve seen so far, that appears unlikely. Perhaps Microsoft will introduce some kind of optional disc-drive, similar to the PS5 Slim.
