Plumber discovers rare Nintendo controller worth £1,000 in his attic

Appropriately enough, Clousdalewho is a plumber, like Nintendo’s mascot Mario, and has explained that his parents bought him the Chrome Leopard controller as a 14th birthday present back in 1998. ‘The Foxdata ones were amazing to me at the time as they were official pads but with custom paint jobs. I used it a fair amount and loved having the craziest looking pad. Though the N64 has long since been packed away, I’m still an avid gamer.’

Ergo, it’s estimated that there are less than 200 of this specific leopard print controller in the whole world.‘This controller offers a chance for a Nintendo memorabilia collector to source a rare, hard-to-find item,’ says Wilson-Turner. ‘Though the controller has been used and is in need of slight attention that only adds to its charm.’
