I’ve traditionally gamed on full keyboards, so I wasn’t sure what to expect from the Razer BlackWidow V4 75%. However, after spending time with it, I can confirm it is able to deliver everything you’d want in a high-quality mechanical gaming keyboard in a smaller form factor. I wound up incredibly impressed, and it’s now my go-to keyboard for both work and gaming. What’s really impressive — and also takes a bit to get used to — is the form factor of the 75% keyboard.
Of course, if you’re looking for a mechanical keyboard, then how the keystrokes actually sound is important. The BlackWidow V4 75% comes with Gen-3 Razer Orange Tactile Mechanical Switches by default, and there are also Yellow and Green variants if you’d like a different sound. There are some incredible-sounding audio clips on, and the Orange is what I prefer as it’s a very satisfying tactile sound while not being as clicky as its Green counterpart.
The keyboard is highly customizable, and the included two-in-one switch and keycap puller make it a breeze to remove components. The keyboard is compatible with both three or five-pin switches, so you’re able to install new switches to your desire and modify them rather easily.
With the Razer BlackWidow V4 75%, convenient control is always at hand. From adjusting brightness and volume to performing custom macros, have it all at your fingertips with a multi-function roller and media keys:
