The animation for the Netflix show looks disappointingly generic but apparently it continues the story from the end of 2018’s Shadow Of The Tomb Raider, which is a bit of a surprise as it seemed as if a line had already been drawn under the reboot trilogy.
Tomb Raider: The Legend Of Lara Croft stars Hayley Atwell as Lara Croft, with Earl Baylon reprising his role as Jonah Maiava from the reboot trilogy and Allen Maldonado featuring as Zip. There’s no release date yet but the original plan was to have the show out this year. The Devil May Cry anime is also only down as ‘coming soon’ but it’s from producer Adi Shankar, who oversaw Castlevania, which is encouraging.
