One argument that continues to crop up during discussions of Microsoft's proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard is how the Xbox team would handle exclusivity with major titles like the Call of Duty games. While discussing how the team wants to get games like Call of Duty to more players, Spencer touched upon Hogwarts Legacy, which has a."And so when we say available everywhere or not exclusive, we want to make absolutely the best version of Call of Duty for any player on any of those platforms," he said, again confirming that there would be no exclusive content.
Spencer went on to add,"Like if you're a Minecraft player on PlayStation, I don't think you feel like you have the lesser version of Minecraft or Minecraft Dungeons or Legends... we want to make sure those players feel like they have a great experience on the platform they choose to play on."
