Also, chip makers expect the chip shortage to be eased before 2024.Several reports indicate that the PS5 will have a Pro version. Sony launched the PS4 Pro three years after the base PS4. So, analysts expect the PS5 Pro to be launched in 2023 or 2024 because the PS5 launched in 2020.
We can’t authoritatively confirm that there will be a PS6 or if Sony’s next-gen console will be called a PS6. But all things being equal, there will be a new console from Sony some years from now. And it will likely be called the PlayStation 6, or PS6 for short.
