This week's Xbox sales are in full swing. Check out the TA news team's top picks from the large number of games on offer...

Seeing Dead Cells’ Castlevania expansion as the first of manygave me a hankering to dust off the old classics, and as luck would have it, a bunch of them are on sale this week. Castlevania: Symphony of the Night is obviously an all-timer and helped spawn an entire genre of exploration-based action games in its name, so that’s a no-brainer if you haven’t played it, and I really rate Lords of Shadow as well, despite it being a bit of a deviation from the traditional formula.

The potato quality thumbnail for the trailer above is actually pretty fitting, because Harmony of Despair isn't much of a looker. It pulls together sprites and art from across a bunch of earlier Castlevania titles, meaning it can look and feel a little all over the place — look past that, though, and there's a compelling loop that will see you venturing back into the various massive maps in search of loot and abilities to make your hero of choice ever stronger.
