People trying to justify the raise of price of games with 'video games cost more to make' while Micrsoft announced their revenue for 2022 being almost 200 billion. They don't need to do this they WANT TO DO THIS. They want more money, same as PlayStation.

They're making a poor choice here. This is going to drive people to GP and away from actually buying their games, which sounds like something they don't want. I think they'd rather get my money from the actual game.
I'll tell you this right now. I'm not paying $70 for a game if I have to go into console and manually load the right stage of a quest I'm on because the NPC disappeared 10 lightyears away onto another planet.
