, at just 1GB, is designed to not only introduce Season 1 of the Ranked Battles in the Battle Stadium, but also to fix various bugs. Infuriatingly, rather than openly naming said fixes , Nintendo chooses to identify only one of the fixes, and it couldn’t be more trivial:
An issue has been fixed that caused the music to not play correctly during the battles with the Elite Four and the Top Champion in the Victory Road path.Oh phew! Because you know how everyone was like, “Sure, my game keeps crashing to menu, and half the time I’m battling Pokémon half-wedged into rocks, but at least the music will play properly in that one bit near the end.”
Beyond this, it simply says that, “Other select bug fixes have been made.” Given the patch is only 1GB, it can’t be an enormous number.
But guess what The game is still amazing 👍🏼 PokemonScarletViolet
Bugs can theoretically be fixed. I'm waiting for acknowledgment that the game was released before being finished and should have spent another year or two in development. I'm not looking forward to paid DLC for an unfinished product.
It really isn't. I've had no glitches and only one crash in my 50+ hours playing. So did most people. The performance is bad but it's not as glitchy as Twitters makes it seem.
It's very obvious Game Freak is not experienced with development in 3D and open-world and tried to run here before they were ready to walk. Game has solid bones, but is a technical faceplant.
Read the article and for the most part it's just the author pretending they know anything about game dev + coding. Oh and (Speaking for everyone) Game has issues duh. Hilariously I played for about 60+ hours with little to no issues outside some framerate which you can mitigate.
Marked safe from buggy mess
Also Nintendo
It's what they are supposed to do. But I am still shocked they acknowledged it.
oof , nothing like a good patch to turn the tides though
Remember that nintendo start in game industry was to ensure game quality because majority lost interest in the gaming cause of lackluster quality, resultint in a market crash. Now look what they allow to release under their brand. Ridiculous
I'm shocked they acknowledged it, now let's wait until they fix it. Because the new patch said nothing about performance
Nintendo seem to have given up The Switch graphics were bad 10 years ago
