Sony has revealed the Backbone One, a new controller that works with iPhone, specifically created for PlayStation Remote Play.

Backbone One PlayStation Edition is similar to the Backbone One. The main differences are that it is very much a DualSense-inspired version. Note the white colour, and, of course, the PlayStation symbols. Sony intends the controller to promote the PS Remote Play app, available in iTunes. This you can use to stream games from your PlayStation5 or PlayStation 4. Of course, Sony also notes that you will be able to use the controller with all manner of games. Just wedge your phone into the middle, and you’re away.

“Backbone One also works wonderfully with App Store games and other game streaming services that support controllers, including Genshin Impact, Fantasian, Call of Duty: Mobile, and more. Players can download the Backbone App for a customized PlayStation experience. Inside the app, you’ll see various PlayStation integrations, such as custom glyphs representing the iconic PlayStation shapes and the ability to browse hundreds of game titles.
