Xbox users from across the internet are receiving free Xbox gift cards from Microsoft in their inboxes for use in the Ultimate Game Sale . While usually these gift cards are handed out to those in the US and Europe, so far, we've only seen reports of users in Australia and Brazil getting the freebie, though it's likely other regions will be getting them too.
The message sent out to users says that the free Xbox gift card actually expired back in June, but users both on Twitter andsay that they received the credit in their accounts anyway. Because of the incorrect date, it's unknown when the gift card will expire, so if you have been blessed by the Xbox gods, it's probably a good idea to spend the credit pretty sharpish.
