I am a fan since RE1 and honestly? The show was dope. It's really good and doesn't even touch the premise of 'classic RE' bcs its canon. Hell they even mentioned something from RE5. The show is really good and fun. Fingers crossed for Season 2.
I love that the art has a creature on it, even though creature scenes make up like 5% of the show. Pacing was a mess, acting was ass except for Lance Reddick, and the attempts at the corny humor from the games were cringe. Just a CW style teen drama version of RE.

A less than decent zombie show, a god awful resident evil show. The acting and graphics/cinematography was the only thing keeping me going. The only thing that felt RE about it was everything they forced into there. Hopefully the second season can make it more natural

There was a Resident Evil movie just last year. Why did Netflix feel the need to make not just another one, but a full series? Nobody asked for it, we already got our fill last year, and anything Netflix remakes turns out awful, which is why it’s a joke at this point.

I tried watching it last night and it didn't keep my attention what so ever. It's not the acting the actors are just doing what they're told. The story just isn't that great. Based around Weskers 2 daughters before and after the outbreak 2/3 is just flashbacks.
