Xbox Game Pass adds 'Metroidvania-lite-meets-cooking game' Magical Delicacy soon

We now have a date for when we can get to work on the Magical Delicacy achievements, as the Xbox Game Pass release date for Magical Delicacy has now been confirmed as July 16! It was long ago in the misty depths of time when Magical Delicacy was announced as a day-one Game Pass addition, and it was the first confirmed 2024 release we had for our list of upcoming Game Pass games, and so had to go into the lonely '2024' section all by itself.

It tells the story of Flora, who's in training to become a full witch. She moves to the town of Grat and opens a kitchen to cook for the town and those who visit it, and so we'll be busy cooking food and potions alike, gathering recipes and ingredients, trading, exploring, and expanding our kitchen. On top of that, the game's Metroidvania elements mean we'll be able to explore new areas after unlocking new abilities and shortcuts.
