Twin Towns Services Club in Tweed Heads is leading the charge to go cashless.

has become the first in NSW to roll out a trial of cashless payment technology for poker and game machines.

"We're asking them to take the leap and go cashless," Twin Towns Services Club chief executive Rob Smith said. The venue is the first to use the technology as part of gambling reforms announced by the State Premier in December 2023, announced to help prevent gambling addiction and stop money laundering through game machines.
